Nutella Recipes That Will Blow Your Mind

From brownies to peanut butter cookies these Nutella recipes turn dessert into an event.

Nutella Swirl Banana Bread

I love to kid myself into thinking that Nutella is a nut spread when clearly it is not. I’m pretty sure it was invented just so people would have an excuse to keep frosting in the fridge at all times. While it can turn simple toast into dessert, there are so many other ways to work it into something ridiculously decadent—and these are the Nutella recipes that will blow your mind.

2-Ingredient Nutella Brownies by The Kitchn

This brownie recipe is going at the top because, chances are, you’re staring at a jar of Nutella and you don’t know what to do with it—and there’s no easier or better way to make use of this hazelnut spread than 2- ingredient Nutella brownies. DO IT. You have nothing to lose.

Nutella Blondies by The Recipe Critic

As if blondies weren’t rich enough, the Recipe Critic had to go in with a swirl of Nutella to knock the wind out of you with its sweet, sweet love. Unlike the chocolate and hazelnut-flavored brownies, It’s composed similarly to a chocolate chip cookie only the butter is melted to make your blondies chewy. When the batter is settled in the pan, it’s topped with Nutella and with the twist of a knife, these are ready to bake. Just try to wait until they’re cooled to take a bite.

Nutella Pastry Twists by Dinner Then Dessert

If you’re more of a crafter with good intentions than a baker, this is the treat you want to try. These elegant twists are super easy and can be done in just 30 minutes. Basically, you cut store-bought puff pastry into pairs of strips, spread Nutella on one strip, top with the other, twist and bake. Minimal effort for an extraordinary snack.

Nutella Cheesecake by Beyond Frosting

Just the list of ingredients could give you a toothache—it’s kind of ridiculous, but not in a chocolate-covered deep-fried Twinkie kind of way. You’ll want to make it for the train wreck value…and because it’s hard to mess up. The crust is made up of Oreos crushed in a food processor and the filling is just Nutella, heavy whipping cream, room temperature cream cheese, sugar and vanilla extract (no eggs!) all whipped together for a creamy, dreamy dessert you wish you didn’t love.

Nutella Ice Cream by Cookin’ with Mima

No-churn ice cream is a great dessert to make if you aren’t confident in your baking skills. All it is sweetened condensed milk and heavy whipping cream beaten and frozen. Easy, right? Now add Nutella for a delicious recipe that’s also quick and easy to make.

Gluten-free Nutella Pull Apart Bread by Gluten Free Stories

Pull apart bread is just monkey bread for adults. Nutella pull apart bread is monkey bread for everyone. However, this version is gluten-free. Here, the dough is rolled out, spread with hazelnut spread, twisted, cut, stacked and baked for a breakfast treat that’s better than french toast and sweet enough to call dessert.

Nutella Stuffed Rice Krispie Treats by There Us Life After Wheat

If you’re looking for delicious ways to gild the lily, this recipe is an example of how something that needs no improvement can be improved. While some recipes insert chocolate chips into these marshmallow treats, this one goes for the gold with chocolate in a more pliable form. Though it says “stuffed” this is actually more of a sandwich—there is a mound of our favorite chocolate-y spread between two layers of rice krispie treats. That means it’s as easy to make as it is easy to eat too much of. This recipe is dairy-free and can be made gluten-free with gluten-free crisp rice cereal.

Nutella Stuffed Peanut Butter Cookies by Handle the Heat

Nutella-Stuffed-Peanut-Butter-Cookies

I was going to try to resist the urge to call this some sort of peanut butter cup in cookie form but…it is and it is SO good. The trick to getting that gooey chocolate and hazelnut spread in the center all depends on the freezer. You spoon out little blobs of the Nutella filling onto a parchment paper-lined baking sheet and then freeze them. You then sandwich the blobs between two pieces of peanut butter cookie dough to form a dumpling. Bake, cool completely, eat and shout.

Nutella Swirl Banana Bread by The Kitchn

Nutella Swirl Banana Bread

A swirl of cocoa and hazelnut turns this old favorite into a whole new quick bread. The banana paired with Nutella is the buttery, toasty taste of fall that has nothing to do with pumpkin spice. So if you need a break from the tried and trite for your afternoon snack (or breakfast), this might be the one you’re looking for. If you’re not sure about your swirling skills, there are a few tips you can follow to make your bread picture-perfect.
